Organic Candles
Procrastinating for the holidays will only make you panic So plan ahead and buy your candles now and make sure they are organic!
Winter holidays all over the world commence in festivals of light as candles burn to signify the past, present and future of many religious and ethnic communities. This year, make the conscious choice to light only organic candles during your holiday celebrations.
- Beeswax Hanukkah candles can be purchased online and in many Judaica and home goods stores. Hanukkah begins at sundown on December 11th so be sure to pick up your candles before Friday! These candles burn longer and are virtually dripless. In addition, the natural beeswax is safer for your loved ones to be around and for the environment.
- Decorate your home with festive Christmas holiday candles made from natural soy or palm oil, which is extracted from oil palm tree fruit without the use of chemicals. Both types of candles burn slowly and produce very little soot. In addition, purchasing soy candles helps support soy bean farmers.
- The Kwanzaa celebration begins on December 26th. For a fun family craft, roll your own Kwanzaa candles this year with an all-natural Beeswax Honeycomb Candle Kit from the Ohio State University Honey Bee Laboratory.
This kid-friendly Hanukkah Candle Kit makes up to 44 beeswax candles with 100% cotton wicks.
Create a winter wonderland in your home with decorative palm wax candles from Aloha Bay, set in recycled and reusable glass votives.
